Aurora Water is the third largest water provider in Colorado. Serving more than 380,000 residents, Aurora Water provides drinking water, stormwater and wastewater services. Aurora is the only municipality with three water treatment facilities with the Partnership for Safe Water's Phase IV "Excellence in Water Treatment" designation. Aurora Water has received the AMWA Platinum Awards for Exceptional Utility Performance (2015), the US Water Prize from the US Water Alliance (2016), the National Environmental Achievement Award from NACWA (2018) and ranked #1 in Customer Service among mid-sized utilities in the west by J.D. Power (2021)
