Electrum Charging Solutions
www.electrumcharging.comElectrum Charging Solutions was created in 2014 by a group of conscientious advocates that came from the building electrical sector, who understood the need for sustainable personal transportation. Privately owned and since inception, ECS has only ever operated in the EV charging infrastructure space. Today, the staff at ECS are committed to the EV world and all technical personnel are accredited electrical trades-people with multiple segment endorsements. (see Key People). The owner, Dan Trudel and the Director, Rob MacGregor have been operating in the EV infrastructure space since 2009. We are active members of the Vancouver Electric Vehicle Association (VEVA) as well as the Victoria Electric Vehicle Club (VEVC). Electrum Charging Solutions is a perennial sponsor of the largest EV event in Canada: ElectraFest https://veva.ca/electrafest-2017/ and the annual CHOA (Condominium Home Owners Association) AGM. We are also very active with Plug-in BC in addition to the New Car Dealers of BC. BC Hydro works with us on many projects as does Powertech Labs. We employ our own electricians. Our journeyed electricians are Red Seal qualified and our apprentice electrician is in his fourth year of training. We also have an EVITP (Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Training Program) certified electrician on staff. Our lead electrician and General Manager, Chris Powel, is also one of our main participants during the initial stages of project planning and logistics. In this manner, we can guarantee our customers of project continuity from the design stage right through to deployment. We can proudly state that no other company in Canada matches this service and level of support. ECS has created an in-house Tech Zone. This is an interactive facility located at our head office that simulates a parkade dedicated to the deployment of EVSE and all the optional technology required for any optional technical solutions. In this facility, we can simulate every scenario for a single EVSE install
