CLIENT PROJECTS - SHORT LIST Orelle Medical Corporation This Seattle based company retained Mirai Design to assist with the design, engineering and manufacturing support to help bring to market a training aid system to address issues of female urinary incontinence. The project involved creating and refining the unique geometry required for the training aid device, design of a carry case, prototype fabrication, definition of key component materials and establishing the primary manufacturing processes. Mirai assisted with the identification and selection of manufacturing partners. The NatraTone brand now markets and sells the product through its website and distributors in both the US and Europe. www.natratone.com ComSonics Inc. Comsonics required mechanical design, component research & specification and packaging of a RF leakage detection system used in the CATV industry. This full featured hand held detector enclosure and docking cradle is engineered by Mirai Design and is comprised of a shock resistant injection molded 2 shot PC/ABS enclosure that is over molded with a thermoplastic elastomer grip . The enclosure included a number of integrated components such as a sealed control interface, light pipe and display bezel. This architecture reduced assembly costs and resulted in a more rugged package. In addition to the enclosure and dock system Mirai was responsible and involved with the specification and sourcing of the PCB layout, Li-Ion battery pack, charge system, custom charge connector and prototype fabrication.
