Honeybee Heroes is a honeybee sanctuary and beekeeping education centre based in Stanford Valley, South Africa. Through our flagship Adopt-a-Hive programme, community-run micro-apiaries, beekeeper training, and more, we are actively reversing the decline of South Africa's Apis Mellifera Capensis honeybee, while encouraging responsible consumerism and uplifting a new generation of young beekeepers of colour.
