Beautiful Trouble
www.beautifultrouble.orgBeautiful Trouble is a global grassroots network of thousands of activists trying to shake things up. We believe that creative, nonviolent resistance can help win a better world for all of us. Our mission is to make revolution irresistible. Shepherded by a small core team of people who hail from countries around the globe, we're working to bring resources, trainings, and community to movements everywhere. Our tools are designed to help movements working on a broad range of social, political and environmental justice issues capture public attention, land stories in media, and influence power-holders to win their campaigns. At the heart of this work is promoting nonviolent resistance that melds art and activism. So far, our repertoire includes publishing two books; creating an open-sourced online toolbox of hundreds of case studies to learn from (available in English, Arabic, Portuguese and Spanish); creating a free, multilingual Telegram chatbot to access our toolbox on-the-go; and training thousands of people across the US and around the world. All this has been made possible by our collaborations with incredible organizations like: ActionAid Activista, 350.org, Code Pink, The Other 98%, Ruckus Society, Yes Lab, Nonviolence International, Waging Nonviolence, Social Impact Lab, Escola de Ativismo (Brazil), Ahel + Mujtama3i (Jordan), Girls’ Legacy Zimbabwe, Solidarity Uganda, and more.
