Timbre Concerts and CRESCENDO1 started BREAKOUT Festival in June 2018 as a two-day outdoor summer festival at Vancouver’s historic PNE Amphitheatre. Winter BREAKOUT was added to the festival series for an indoor single-day event in December 2018 at Pacific Coliseum making the BREAKOUT series the only bi-annual hip-hop event of it's kind in Canada.
