Amazonas Technology Education Center (CETAM) is a state autonomous body, which was established by State Law n° 2.816, of July 24th, 2003. CETAM is associated with the Office of Education and Sports of Amazonas (SEDUC) through funding alone. CETAM aims to actively promote public policies to advance formal education, which includes entrepreneurship, sustainable development, and the citizen engagement sides, by offering courses that range from short digital inclusion training programs to longer, non-degree-granting vocational training programs, that targets both the youth and adults, in an attempt to help them enter the job market and improve their quality of life.
