Social media is an inescapable part of young people’s lives. Rather than telling students they shouldn’t be on social media, we believe they should be shown how to handle it positively and constructively. Positive Social sessions for students, parents and teachers tackle social media bullying, issues of self-worth and online mistakes. They demonstrate how social media can provide opportunities for the future, promote community cohesion and give young people confidence. Since 2015, Positive Social has helped thousands of young people make good choices - as well as equipping parents and teachers to deal with social media challenges. Positive Social is charity founded by Mark and Kerry Saxby from Status Social, one of the UK’s first social media agencies. Postive Social was officially registered as a charity in 2020.
