Both realizing that their partnership on traditional projects had been successful partly because of their relationship and experience. Yet, the problems associated with the traditional project delivery of separate contracts and responsibilities were still there. Always straininig budgets, schedules and relationship with the Owner. Combining both design and construction gave the architects the assistance in cost -management and constructability reviews while providing the general contractors with the early involvement and decision assistance that would provide valuable knowledge of the scope during construction. Giving the Client a “no-nonsense approach to design and construction services. It is out of that experience, that we believe that a significant amount of money and construction time could be saved by employing an experienced Design Builder who not only oversees the building design but hires and manages all of the contractors who will work on that project.
