Calibration and Testing Services (CATS Pty Ltd) is a NATA accredited calibration laboratory based in Bassendean, Western Australia, specialising in electrical test and measurement equipment and thermal imaging. Its accreditation covers the field of Measurement Science and Technology for the tests, calibrations and measurements shown on the Scope of Accreditation issued by NATA. The laboratory was first accredited in October 1986 under the Westinghouse Electric Corporation and was subsequently taken over by Siemens Ltd in October 1998. It then went on to become its own separate entity known as CATS Pty Ltd in April 2000, and has since been a successfully run family business for over 20 years. The laboratory is a quality controlled environment with experienced personnel, trained in the proper operation and maintenance of a broad range of equipment. All processes are carried out in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025 international standards. The laboratory's focus is upon high standards and returning equipment to clients quickly whilst maintaining high levels of quality and value. CATS work closely with a wide range of industries including mining, technology suppliers, technology services, utilities, defence, infrastructure, safety, energy and resources. CATS continually adds value to existing processes and services, and looks to extend its scope of accreditation to a wide umbrella of measurements.
