The Chapel Hill Bible Church is a non-denominational multicultural church in the university community of Chapel Hill, North Carolina. This church has an average weekly attendance of about 1000 for worship with vibrant children's, youth, university, young adult, men's, women's, and worship ministries. The Chapel Hill Bible Church first met in 1970. It consisted then of about 20 people, many of them students and faculty at the University of North Carolina. Values central to the church were biblical teaching and radically Christian lifestyles. They met initially in a building on UNC's campus, but outgrew that within a few years and built a facility of their own just off campus. By 2001 they needed a still larger building, where they now meet - 260 Erwin Road, 27514. The church is located midway between Chapel Hill and Durham, reflecting the demographics of those attending.
