UCDS is an educational hub that designs a multi-dimensional culture of learning for children and adults. We cultivate reflective, collaborative and lifelong learners who will be equipped to ignite positive change in their communities. Since our inception as a lab school at the University of Washington in 1911, our teachers have designed and implemented robust curricula and programs. Collaboration is present throughout our early education, elementary and graduate programs, educational partnerships and professional development offerings. Our faculty create dynamic learning experiences and develop expansive, creative, and reflective thinking in our students.
