The Kimmel Cultural Campus The Kimmel Cultural Campus is more than just our beloved glass domed Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts. We are the historic Academy of Music and Merriam Theater, too, serving more than one million guests per year! We’re home to eight esteemed Resident Companies, and events ranging from the best of classical music, to the hottest touring Broadway, and from the best in stand-up comedy to multi-medium and experimental work, plus FREE education programming for K-12 Title I, Public Charters, and Archdiocese schools. As a 501 c 3 nonprofit organization with 9,000 seats per night across our 9 events venues, we are the region’s most impactful performing arts center and the second-largest in the country. Yet greater than our buildings, greater than our shows, is our shared experience with you…being in the same place, at the same time and being moved in the moment together.
