Our mission is to bring new life to conventional cancer treatment by developing targeted drug delivery methods that diminish harmful side effects for patients during treatment and increase overall patient survival. We are developing a liposome that releases a chemotherapeutic when exposed to a short burst of therapeutic radiation. Lowering unwanted exposure to the chemotherapy to the bodies other organs, resulting in fewer side effects and lower toxicity.
