Strugence Benevolent Foundation is a ‘not for profit’ organization aimed at the welfare of the under-privileged class of the society. The Foundation has sponsored Strugence Social Venture Fund - Strugence Ashray Fund, which is registered as a Category I Fund with SEBI. The foundation primarily focuses on well-defined projects and programmes which would include: - Eradicating hunger, poverty and malnutrition, - Promoting preventive health care through Mobile Health Clinics, assistance to Primary health Care Centres, safe drinking water and hygienic sanitation facilities, watershed management projects for improvisation in water tables, bio-toilets etc. - Promoting education and livelihood enhancement projects, including special education and employment enhancing vocation skills etc. among children, women, elderly, and the differently-able; - Programs & Projects aimed at Environmental Sustainability and Ecological Balance, such as increasing Solar Power footprint, increasing the Green Cover and afforestation, protection of flora and fauna, animal welfare, aggro-forestry, conservation of natural resources and maintaining quality of soil, air and water; - Protection of National Heritage, Art and Culture including restoration of buildings and sites of historical importance and works of art; setting up public libraries; promotion and development of traditional art and handicrafts, - Promoting Low Cost Housing for EWS and LIG citizens through Slum Area Development programes and Affordable Housing programs with a view of reducing inequality in socially and economically backward groups ; Strugence Benevolent Foundation seeks to empower individuals and groups of people with the skills needed to effect change within their lives, family and communities.
