Our Purpose We help families transfer their Legacy to the next generation. We develop Leaders in organizations, large and small. We use a values-based approach for both Legacies and Leaders. Our Story We’re two brothers who love to talk about leadership and values. Over the years, our separate backgrounds – Bill in the United States Marine Corps and Bart in the business world – dealt heavily in both areas. These were subjects we were immersed in, professionally, on a daily basis. So, when we had the occasion to get together, mostly at family gatherings when Bill wasn’t deployed, we compared notes and told our stories. And what we found, time and again, was that even though our professional worlds were extremely different, the basic tenants of leadership and the importance of adherence to values were universal. Whether in the boardroom or on the battlefield, the underlying philosophy and effectiveness of these two important subjects remain the same regardless of the environment. Our love of the idea of leadership and the importance of understanding and adhering to a core set of values drives what we do today. For families, our belief is that discovering, defining and reinforcing values is the best way to ensure that a family’s Legacy can live on for generations. For organizations, we believe that you can’t lead effectively if you don’t understand the inherent values within the organization. In both cases, we bring our decades-long experience and passion to help drive solutions.
