Our world – its people, animals, and ecology – is a vastly interconnected system. As our world continues to face increasingly complex, emergent issues in the areas of climate change, public health, veterinary medicine, and chronic disease, the need for dynamic organizations which connect multidisciplinary scientists has become essential. The One Health Institute is an ever-evolving, collaborative network of researchers, educators and community activists around the world. One Health Institute at CSU is headed by Dr. Susan VandeWoude, associate dean for research in the College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, and member of the National Academy of Sciences. She leads a team of professionals and graduate students across several disciplines.
