Pari Chehrehsa, Fashion Designer / Textile Artist /Painter My Studio is located in the city of Calgary by the beautiful Rocky Mountains in Alberta Canada in which I design, paint, make patterns and sew my textile arts. I was born and raised in Tehran, where I learned and fell in love with ancient Persian arts including Persian rug design, Persian Miniature, Tazhib, Persian carpet weaving, textile arts, and batik painting. After graduating from my first bachelor of arts in textile and fashion design in year 2000 from University of Elmo Farhang in Tehran, I immigrated to Canada and continued my journey as a textile designer, fashion designer, art and design teacher/Instructor for the past 18 years and had the opportunity to learn and appreciate western ar Pari Chehrehsa Fashion Designer & Textile Artist About the Artist & Designer Pari is a passionate textile artist and fashion designer based in Calgary, Canada, who creates luxurious hand painted textiles including silk scarves, cotton scarves, unique stylish leotards and accessories including legwarmers, arm warmers and headbands for skating, dance, synchronized swimming and gymnastic competitions as well as yoga tops and leggings for yoga practices. Pari has graduated from University of Calgary with a Master Degree in Computational Media Design with a research focus on creative process and a Bachelor of Education in Secondary Fine Arts. Prior to that she received a Bachelor of Arts in Textile and Fashion Design from University of Jahad Daneshgahi in Iran. Pari’s designs are spiritual, natural, and glamorous inspired from dreams and visions of the artist along with the colours, forms and textures of the nature. The Collections are designed with rich fabrics, quality crystals and are hand painted with vibrant colours in artistic style for women seeking a unique, feminine, and eclectic aesthetic.
