Founded in 2016 by survivor Maxine Robinson; Support for Survivors is a charitable incorporated organisation (CIO) that provides support to male & female survivors of childhood abuse. Survivors' experience of sexual, physical, psychological & incest abuse and/or rape can have a profoundly damaging and lasting effect on their achievement and potential as adults. Support for Survivors empower service users to achieve their maximum potential, raise awareness of childhood abuse experienced by adults and help to improve the impact of trauma on mental health and well-being through a programme of; • Peer Led Support + Mentoring • Outreach & Advocacy Support • Survivor Management Programmes • Personal Development Workshops (including Creative Arts & Crafts) • Peer Training + Volunteering
