HEROES, Inc.® supports the spouses and children of law enforcement officers, firefighters and federal agents who give their lives in the line of duty to the greater Washington DC community. Since 1964 HEROES has brought together caring members of our city to help support the families of fallen first responders. HEROES’ singular goal is to honor the supreme sacrifice made by law enforcement officers and firefighters and emergency personnel who give their lives in the line of duty while ensuring the safety and well-being of citizens in the greater Washington area. Our support begins within 24 hours of the tragic loss and continues indefinitely.
