Norcomm was established in 1994 as Illinois' first private 9-1-1 call center serving police, fire and emergency medical dispatch for villages, cities and fire protection districts. Norcomm provides state-of-the-art equipment and facilities to answer emergency 9-1-1 calls, staffs 3-1-1 call centers and provides support for emergency and non-emergency municipal operations. Consolidating emergency communication centers provides for cost-effective emergency service communications. Consolidation also provides the opportunity to utilize modern equipment and software applications to improve emergency services.
