Our mission is to inspire girls and young women in middle & high school who are historically under-represented in STEM education and careers to become bold, confident world changers through STEM/STEAM career exploration & mentoring, educational planning, and personal growth & development. The goal of our program is to create awareness of and interest in the rapid growth industries in STEAM. We especially explore the opportunities that are not widely known and pursued, and provide mentors to model, guide and bridge opportunities. MSKSI also mentors personal growth and empowerment with programs designed to help girls develop the competencies needed to effectively communicate ideas and feelings, develop healthy relationships with self and others, embrace her authentic self, develop mindfulness, a growth mindset and strategies for self-care.
