When it opens its doors in 2022, Parami University will present a new opportunity to every young person in Myanmar to fulfill their potential and become positive changemakers in our nation. Parami University will teach, nourish, and challenge these young people so that they are equipped to shape a new Myanmar narrative: a narrative that moves on from stagnation, and status quo to progress and prosperity, to humanity and hope. Parami University is a private non-profit residential liberal arts and sciences university. Starting with three interdisciplinary majors in 1) Politics, Philosophy, and Economics, 2) Urban and Environmental Studies, and 3) Computational and Statistical Sciences, Parami University embarks on a mission to create leaders, that are both competent and skillful, and ethical and responsible. Meeting the needs of students from all walks of life, Parami will offer generous full and partial scholarships, so that we can create leaders from diverse socioeconomic, ethnic, and religious backgrounds. A residential immersive learning atmosphere on the 20-acre lush green land provides a nurturing environment not only to hone academic skills in writing, critical thinking, and research but also to nurture life skills in collaboration, team-work, and communication.
