The Howard County Concert Orchestra was formed to provide Howard County with a completely professional orchestra, dedicated to exceptional performances of classical music from the Baroque era to the 21 century. As such, the orchestra has the versatility to perform music written originally for smaller forces as well as music written for larger symphony orchestras, but with greater clarity, highlighting the unique sound of each instrument and bringing an intimacy and attention to detail not otherwise possible.
