Established in 1981, Shri Guru Gobind Singhji Institute of Engineering and Technology, Nanded, is one of the promising autonomous institutions in technical education, research and technology transfer. It receives 100% grant-in aid from Government of Maharashtra and is affiliated to Swami Ramanand Teerth Maratahwada University, Nanded. We offer 10 UG, 10 PG, and Ph.D. program. In less than 25 years of inception, we made a mark to get autonomy along with other institutes COE Pune, VJTI Mumbai, and ICT Mumbai which were 100+ years old.  Institute has more than 50% of regular faculty with Ph.D.  Faculty have contributed for laboratory development through proposals to various funding agencies like AICTE, DST-FIST, BARC, NRB, etc. We also got funding of TEQIP in all 3 phases. A "Centre of Excellence in Signal and Image Processing" was awarded under TEQIP-II. Establishment of Innovation Laboratory, MHRD's Institution Innovation Council, Incubation Centre, and Engineering Exploration laboratory has led to innovation culture. Students get exposure to multidisciplinary and innovative projects. Students bag awards in National competitions like AIR-1 in BAJA, Smart India Hackathon Winners, etc. We are happy to convey all that our institute has secured 4th Rank in ARIIA 2020 in Govt. and Govt. aided Category.  Institute boasts having 25+ Placement MNC partners. Average placement record for the last five years is above 60%. Institute is having neat, clean and green campus spread over 46 acres with hostels for boys and girls, guest rooms, medical facility, hygienic food courts, library, auditorium, and good sports facilities - air conditioned well equipped Gym, Table-tennis hall,  volleyball court, basketball court, cricket turf wicket ground, tennis clay court with flood lights and badminton.
