As early as 1923, Jacques BES developed a shipping activity in THUIR. Jean-Pierre and Hélène ILLE made the family business prosper by developing the packaging part and by building important storage and sorting capacities for fruits and vegetables on the THUIR site. In 1997, Pierre BATLLE initiated the development of the farms. The objective is to reinforce the group's fruit and vegetable production. In 2006, Julien and Pierre BATLLE took over the company in order to continue the work undertaken by the family. They gave a new impulse to the company in terms of investments in production and in the industrial field. Julien BATLLE gave a strong impetus to the commercial side of the business by developing new products (organic, flat nectarines, pears...) and by finding new agreements in particular with the Plaine du Roussillon cooperative.
