Yamamoto Rock Splitter International

With over 100 years of history, Yamamoto Rock Splitter has grown from its humble past of spare part manufacturing to one of the leading innovators and pioneers in the rock drilling industry. Started in 1915 in Tojo, Japan, Yamamoto Rock Splitter first began manufacturing spare parts for rock drills. Over time, the company expanded to manufacture its own products, including rock drills, pneumatic drifters and hydraulic drifters, which were supplied on contract basis to global companies such as Atlas Copco and Ingersoll Rand. In 1981, the company launched the Yamamoto Ultra Large Rock Splitter. Since then it has been established as a standard method for rock excavation in Japan. Internationally, it has been used in over twenty countries in all continents to support our customer to conduct safer and more efficient rock excavation projects. Yamamoto’s excavator mounted rock splitter is the biggest splitter on the market, designed for maximum productivity and minimum downtime. Our ultra large rock splitter comes in two models, HRB-1000 with required hole diameter of 4”/102mm and HRB-1700 with a required hold diameter of 5”/127mm. Today, Yamamoto Rock Splitter is supported by a network of representatives and distributors in Asia, Europe, America and Latin America, with its international sales and marketing office in Singapore. All product development and manufacturing continue to take place in its original factory in Tojo, Japan, ensuring the machines are of highest quality and trusted by our customers.
