MD Association for Environmental and Outdoor Education (MAEOE), is a nonprofit educational association responsible for The MD Green School & Center Award Certification. MAEOE encourages, engages and empowers the community to understand, responsibly use and promote the natural world. MAEOE works in collaboration with members and partner organizations to support and grow a network of environmental and outdoor educators throughout the state and the Mid-Atlantic region. MAEOE is a member of NAAEE, the North American Association for Environmental Educators.
