ICR costantly invests in its whole structure, continuing a policy, which began several years ago, born to meet the market supply, higher than the demand, which led to a reduced delivery time and lower costs. In this perspective, In recent years, ICR has established the close partnerships with manufacturers of printing presses, inks, adhesives and coatings for the optimization of engravings in order to obtain the result desired with an eye to reducing consumption and to the ecological and environmental issues. ICR has made significant upgrades in both the organizational structure and the production, which made possible to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction. Regarding the organization, investments have been made in a new management information system, which can control in real time the progress of the production for a better service to customers, and a system for automating workflow in the pre-press department. The technical team, a strength of the Company, has furtherly been strengthened. Thanks to many years of experience, the technical team can assist the customer in everyday production and in the fundamental stages of research and development of new processes. This is possible thanks to the Color Management System, which is able to offer a linearization of the whole process, starting from the printing performance, and ensuring the repeatability of the result in time and on the same line of products. In production, ICR has installed the automatic line “Autocon”, able to perform the entire cycle of the cylinder, fromcopper plating to engraving, until the final chrome plating: the complete process with intermediate controls of cylinder’s geometry and surface. ICR installed in-line a second HK500 G3 Twain, for electronic engraving. In addition, has alsoupdated the Exactus line for autotipical engraving with laser exposition.
