Established in 1987, Broadview Instrumentation Services, Inc. (BIS) is a test and measurement instrumentation calibration and repair service company located in northeast Ohio. BIS is an American Association for Laboratory Accreditation accredited (A2LA accredited) laboratory in accordance with the requirements of ISO/IEC 17025, ANSI/NCSL Z540-1, and ANSI/NCSL Z540.3. Since 1995, BIS has been a member of NCSL International (http://www.ncsli.org/). President of BIS, Thomas Powis, held the position at NCSL International of Northern Ohio Section Coordinator from 2002 to 2010. Today BIS has grown to serve over 1,000 organizations, both local and international, with their calibration needs.
