Yampa Sandwich Company (formerly Backcountry Delicatessen) first opened its doors in the spring of 1999 in the heart downtown Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Dave Pepin and Peter Boniface founded Yampa Sandwich Co on the simple idea that outdoor enthusiasts need high-quality, great tasting food to fuel their active lifestyles. The result is a specialty sandwich shop and deli that meets the requirements of the most demanding adventure seekers in the Rocky Mountain West.
