The Embassy represents, promotes and protects the interests of the government of the Netherlands, as well as those of Dutch nationals in Ireland. We are at the service of Dutch people living in Ireland requiring consular assistance for passports, visas, identity cards and other consular queries. We are also on hand to assist with trade and business development queries from Dutch companies considering branching into Ireland or those who are already established here. We can help by mapping out the Irish business environment through matchmaking, networking and referral of useful contacts and provide information on specific sectors and markets, from startup’s to traditional markets. In addition we offer support for promotional events such as conferences, exhibitions and trade missions. The Embassy’s political department establishes and maintains bilateral and EU relations with a large focus currently on Brexit amongst other worldwide political issues in an ever changing environment. The Embassy coordinates the cultural policy aimed at the promotion of Dutch arts abroad. We act as a liaison between professional arts organisations, media and policy makers in Ireland and their counterparts in the Netherlands and are directly involved in the promotion of cultural activities.
