Isovist
www.isovist.co.nzePlanning As New Zealands leading eplan provider, we have extensive experience of working with a large number of councils to deliver ePlans. The Isovist ePlan was awarded the New Zealand Planning Institute Supreme Practice Award (Nancy Northcroft) in March 2018. The knowledge of how different councils work with their plans combined with our own planning and IT knowledge means we offer advice on how to get the best out of your ePlan project, and can guide on best practice. While we offer a very comprehensive set of tools, we always advise to keep things as simple as possible within the bounds of your resourcing availability. Our point of difference Our team has extensive experience in both planning and IT. That experience means we fully understand the needs and pressures on planners both as users and deliverers of plans as well as what IT can do in that field. We work with our planning clients, using our extensive knowledge, experience and understanding to deliver leading edge e-planning products which planners and the public want. Plan Migration While we provide a comprehensive tool for uploading existing plans, we realise that most councils simply don't always have the resources available to direct staff to that task. Our uploading services can relieve that pressure, and provide you with fully uploaded and polished ePlan cost effectively and quickly. Drafting Guidance If you're about to embark on drafting a plan, we can advise on how to get the most of the software while going through this process. We also encourage all our clients to collaborate and share stories on best practices. We can also work with your consultants and provide guidance on how they draft directly into the plan. GIS As an ESRI Partner, we have specialist skills to help you get the most out of the spatial elements of ePlanning. As part of plan migration or drafting guidance, we can advise on what GIS services are required, along with formatting. Most councils already have planning maps/web services, which we simply leverage. Changes required for ePlans are usually minor.
