@ Development
www.cvapatient.wordpress.comIn 2012 I did suffer a CVA. This meant I had to quit with my own company, @Development. I had to regain the use of my left side and parts of my brain. Still, I did have a lot of redevelopment to do. Learn new things. Explore my current capabilities. Balance my lack of energy and physical skills with the ideas in my mind. Now I am still not able to work as an independent consultant. Lack of energy, nerve pains and other ailments prohibit me from working. However within my new boundaries I discovered I can share my experiences and review them with my knowledge of organizations and people. I have worked in development at people, team and organizational level. This experience I can still use when sharing my experiences in healthcare as a patient. As a start I began to write a blog. Later I became a member of different patient organizations. Also I became a participant in stroke-related research. It is great to know I can help others in gaining knowledge about the effects of a stroke. Are you interested in hearing a patient's point of view? Do you want advice on how to train researchers or care professionals on the patient's perspective? Drop me an email and maybe I can help you or refer to someone who can. I am not able to travel but happy to Skype with you (or whichever platform you prefer). Looking forward to hear from you!
