Our Vision WURRLYedu’s Mission is to revolutionize the way music is taught in schools. We believe all kids should have access to high quality music education and that it shouldn’t be restricted to the confines of the classroom walls. Our technology makes it easy for teachers to offer emotionally relevant content on multiple devices (including personal, class and teacher levels) in an environment of accountability for teacher and students. Our Philosophy We believe that the best learning is EXPERIENTIAL in nature. By definition, that means the DOING of something, AND THE REFLECTION on what was just done. Most people think of music as being experiential as you are doing something, but if you are not recording the performance how can there be any reflection? That is why we place such an importance on the video and audio recording tools in WURRLYedu. Secondly, we believe lessons with an "emotional hook" are the best way to engage students. It's not what but HOW lessons are presented that make them relatable. We believe our philosophy helps hone life skills that go far beyond music education, including analytical skills, communication and collaboration skills and problem solving.
