The Charlotte News is an award-winning, nonprofit, community-based newspaper dedicated to informing townspeople of current events and issues. Founded in 1958, it serve as a forum for the free exchange of views of town residents and celebrate the people, places and happenings that make the Town of Charlotte unique. The Charlotte News is a 501(c)(4) nonprofit corporation run by volunteers and a minimally-paid core staff that is supported by The Friends of the Charlotte News, a tax-deductible 501(c)(3). We publish every other Thursday, 24 times a year and deliver to every household in Charlotte. We also have over 200 paid subscribers and deliver to 50+ businesses in Charlotte, Shelburne, South Burlington, Burlington, Hinesburg, Ferrisburgh, North Ferrisburgh and Vergennes. Got a story idea?
