Flat Friends is a children’s brand for newborn babies to age 12 years that aims to create a loving and tolerant society by influencing children using our cute and cuddly characters, educational toys, digital games, stories and clothing. Flat Friends was started in 1996 making soft toys using lambskin/sheepskin. Lambskin/sheepskin was chosen because of its natural and therapeutic properties which enhances babies’ wellbeing. Since then our range has grown to include; lambskin/sheepskin soft toys, puppets, puzzles, bags, clothing made using natural organic fiber, and books. Our toys have gone into major retail outlets around the world, won awards and influenced many people and companies within our industry. Being a pioneer is not easy but it is fun. Watching a child and adult with our products happily interacting in a positive way with others and hearing stories from teachers, parents, grandparents and carers about how our products have benefited their child makes me very happy every time.
