Ukrainian Association of IT Professionals (UAITP) is a Ukrainian public organization established on the basis of common goals of its member base of Ukrainian IT organizations and professionals. UAITP is a non-profit society whose activities cover all of Ukraine. UAITP’s purpose is the creation of conditions that support latest information technologies and computer science in Ukraine, raising public awareness of information technology and the introduction of modern communication and information systems in all industries, accelerating Ukraine's integration into the international community. Basic directions of UAITP’s activity • To aid corporations in foreign countries with locating partners for the development of outsourced software projects • To aid foreign corporations in establishing Ukrainian presence as well as finding and hiring human resources • To improve overall digital literacy in the population and the promotion of community involvement to aid individuals and organizations in attaining knowledge and skills in modern information technology in accordance with international standards • To promote scientific research in information and communication technologies in Ukraine • To promote the development of Ukrainian-made high-tech products and competitive software • To work hand-in-hand with government on developing and implementing programs to accelerate acceptance of IT norms, standards, methods and systems in general throughout the society ...
