Natural Baby Doulas is a group of four doulas working together in the greater Triad area of North Carolina to provide families with support during their pregnancy, labor, birth, and postpartum period. We have very similar training, experience, and philosophical approach to the way we provide support for our clients. We have supported over 300 families and each family has their own unique birth goals and preferences. We help moms reach their birth goals whether it be an unmedicated birth, a waterbirth, a smooth induction, a VBAC, a gentle c-section or a combination of these. Each doula brings skills and interests that we incorporate into our practice. We love and trust the ability of a woman to give birth and we believe her experience is improved with the support of a doula. As childbirth educators, doulas, and mothers ourselves, we have found that when a woman and her partner are educated about the birth process and are focused on staying healthy and low-risk, they are less fearful of labor. In these cases, knowledge does equal power: the power to appreciate and welcome birth, rather than fear it. We attend hospital, birth center, and home births in Greensboro, High Point, Winston Salem, Burlington, Chapel Hill, Statesville, and everywhere in between.
