Foundation 92, was established in 2018 by the ‘Class of ‘92’ and is the official charity of Salford City Football Club. Principal Partner 1st CENTRAL. Based in the heart of Salford, the Foundation is an independent registered charity that focuses on supporting communities to improve their lives through sport, education and bespoke projects, with an emphasis on positive physical and mental wellbeing. We support all pillars of the wider community, offering our help to those living with additional needs and disabilities, those tackling homelessness and young people who have or may be at risk of committing offences, amongst other groups. The charity uses innovative programmes that specialise in Health and Wellbeing, Education and Employability skills and Community Inclusion and Youth Outreach, working closely with partners across Salford and Greater Manchester including multiple local housing associations, Bupa Foundation and more. At Foundation 92, we believe the community should be at the centre of everything we do, and we strive to provide a sustainable, successful and reliable service for those most in need, with impactful and lasting benefits.
