The National Foundation for the Deaf is a non-profit, non-government organisation based in New Zealand. We support the rights of people with hearing loss, and work with our member organisations to support hearing impaired and deaf New Zealanders, encourage hearing preservation, and promote good sound. We focus on breaking down barriers for people with hearing loss. We promote the appreciation of good sound. And we encourage all New Zealanders to protect and preserve their hearing.
