www.oxfordblackalumni.orgThe Oxford Black Alumni Network connects hundreds of black Oxford graduates from across the generations. It inspires alumni, and those who follow, to fight for their causes and achieve common goals. It involves them in projects encouraging others to raise and reach their own aspirations. Connect, inspire, involve: ONE/ Alumni will be able to connect – and reconnect – through regular social and professional events, impactful projects, and on social media channels. TWO/ The Network aims to be a platform for alumni to be inspired to fight for their social causes, advance their personal development, and achieve their career goals through events, projects and the simple power of community. We will establish and facilitate professional mentoring and industry buddying programmes between former, current and aspiring Oxford students. THREE/ Finally, we aim to involve alumni in mentoring schemes and projects that increase access for younger generations – both into Oxford and into various professions. In the future, like similar networks across the pond - at Harvard, Yale, Howard and others - we envisage the creation of regional chapters, around the world.
