Founded in 2015 in Portugal and present in other geographies, W2E-EPS is a global provider of Engineering Services, Project Development and Technical Manpower Outsourcing. Since early 2020 W2E-EPS engaged in the Cleantech sector, positioned at the convergence of two sectors: Environment (elimination of Waste Residues) and Energy (production of Renewable Hydrogen, Synthetic Fuels, Electrical Power). Through partnerships with disruptive technology developers, we deliver a comprehensive portfolio of clean solutions, products, and services, to ensure maximum energy efficiency, using state-of-the-art technologies for the reduction of environmentally harmful emissions. Our flagship solution is an alternative and proven method to produce renewable hydrogen through advanced gasification of unrecycled/landfill waste, with plasma refining of the syngas, and upgraded with CCU. It is a totally closed and clean process, with no GHG emissions nor toxic by-products and a negative CO2 impact. It operates 24/7 up to 8000 hours per year, and offers a continuous and highly efficient production of the most predicable and clean syngas possible (from the organic fraction of the waste), and also plasma rock (from the inorganic fraction of the waste). This syngas can then be converted to large amounts of low-cost renewable hydrogen, renewable CO2, synthetic fuels, or electrical power. Part of it can also be used to fully power the plant, making it self-sustainable. The plasma rock is a vitrified inert and non-leaching slag that permanently sequesters all toxic heavy metals and other contaminants, and can be safely used as an aggregate for construction.
