Screen Nation Media's primary focus is to produce and market content whilst supporting diversity and inclusion within the international film and TV industry. CEO Charles Thompson has worked within the industry for over 30 years as a Film Producer, having made a number of successful independent films, television programs and productions of live shows. Charles recognized there was a gap within the market where mainstream production, marketing & PR agencies did not understand the opportunities the market presents or the channels to produce, promote and release culturally diverse independent film, television, and content. This inspired renowned film producer, Charles Thompson MBE to first launch Screen Nation Film & TV Awards in 2003 run by Screen Nation Foundation a product of Screen Nation Media. Screen Nation Awards has been at the forefront of acknowledging and rewarding the best of Black British screen talent for well over a decade. Its primary aim is to acknowledge the achievements of professionals working with the industry over the course of a 12 month period, whilst providing a platform of excellence for young people to aspire to.
