In 2019, an opportunity came along to work with an exciting, fresh, new company and having just come to the end of maternity leave with my third child, I felt excited to get going again!! As Head of Sales, this role was right up my street. Not only that, the role was flexible and freelance and so fitted perfectly around family life, while allowing me the chance to get back out there!! I enjoyed meeting new people, exploring a creative industry and re-connecting with the buzz of a busy sales community. A few months later another fantastic opportunity came along to work on a project with another company, I snapped it up! Life got busier and I had started to build my small business! It didn’t have a name, I didn’t have a plan necessarily, but I was really enjoying juggling a busy work and home life. From that point, things have spiralled and I feel so lucky that they have. I now have a lovely collection of clients from a range of industries. The projects I have worked on include sales representation (New business & account management), pre-event sales, event registration & appointment scheduling, onsite event support, database cleansing, website management, social media support, website design, brochure content writing and brochure design. Having a little time to breathe now, I have had a chance to reflect, make a plan for the forthcoming 12 months and make things a little more official with a business name and a logo! Pink Vine Sales & Marketing is officially born! Exciting times! My Dad worked hard to build a successful business and I always remember being so proud! If I can make my family even half as proud, i’ll be happy!
