I am a storyteller – my job is to tell “the story of the property” so that you can understand and act on the information to make wise decisions. I will take whatever time is needed to do a thorough inspection, explain my observations clearly and concisely, and provide you information you can use. As an independent inspector I have no one pushing me to maximize the number of inspections I do every day – you are my boss. I provide you and your clients with clear, concise inspection reports that you can act on. I worked more than 30 years as a “storyteller” through public relations and marketing, providing customers with critical information to make decisions about products. Then I went back to school to become a licensed Professional Inspector. I apply my decades of storytelling and business experience to ensure that you have critical information you need to make decisions. I served in the U.S. Air Force after graduating from Rice University in Houston. l also worked on the staff at Texas A&M for several years and then earned a Masters degree from the University of Texas at Austin – so blue, maroon and burnt orange all swirl in my blood! I understand the challenges of permitting, construction and adherence to building codes. I worked on construction crews doing site preparation, concrete foundations, framing and sheet metal work. I’ve done the hands-on work of renovating my own homes and helped build a few for charitable groups. I look forward to working for you.
