We started this platform on the day lockdown came into effect in the UK, with the intention of building a network that could encompass the start-up community and our mission of helping start-ups launch successfully. We are a start-up ourselves so have followed the principles we espouse, such as testing our assumptions, not building products before we have determined demand and constantly trying new approaches to hit-on a formula that works. We welcome members who are: (1) pre-launch entrepreneurs, seeking to launch their businesses successfully ("Founders"); and (2) experienced commercial entrepreneurs interested in sharing knowledges and expertise ("Mentors"). Come and join us. The main newsfeed of the platform is free to all members and they can enjoy the posts and articles we publish. If members want to be more interactive, we encourage them to fill in their profile, listing their expertise and stating what they can give and what they want from other members of Founders and Mentors. We signpost members to each other and everybody has an open personal chat feature to communicate on a 1-2-1 basis. Outside the main newsfeed, the network is organised into communities for members to gather and discuss relevant topics. We are putting together paid-for programmes for most communities so we can deliver outcomes, transformation and results for members. Whilst we will be focusing content and programmes for the individual communities, we will also be actively connecting members of the different communities with a view to helping start-up launches. We also run inexpensive courses designed to skill members in particular domains, such as marketing, crowdfunding, and mentoring.
