McGavigan is a global business manufacturing a range of decorative and technical plastics for clients and serving the automotive, medical and domestic appliance markets. Examples include printed decorative/visual components used in speedo/tacho instrument clusters, decorative plastic audio and climate control panel assemblies, and decorated moulded door trim manufactured. Our manufacturing facilities in Europe and China are equipped with the latest processes including plastic injection moulding (single and twin shot), painting, laser etching, plating, clean room level screen printing, mechanical and thermo-forming, die and laser cutting, in-mould decoration, film insert moulding, in-mould labelling, and component sub-assembly, and hold leading industry accreditations and standards. The business originally dates back to its routes in Glasgow in 1861 when as a family firm it supplied a range of printed religious and commercial material. Today McGavigan supply parts to many of the global car manufacturers including BMW, Audi, Volvo, Ford, GM, Toyota, Skoda and VW through the major systems integrators.
