Westenergy is a company in the circular economy in Western Finland. We refine waste into electricity, district heating and recovered materials. The energy produced at Westenergy is helping to reduce the consumption of fossil fuels, support the production of biogas and with a near 50 percent share in local heat production, we are a crucial local energy supplier in the Vaasa region. In co-operation with our partners we have been pioneers in developing new construction materials, geopolymers and recycled metals to ensure the highest possible rate of material utilization. We are part of multiple projects in the circular economy and we want to do our part for a clean and sustainable world.
