Purdy insurance Agency, Inc was founded in 1925 by H.L. Purdy. His son, Truman H. Purdy, joined him in the 1940's after serving his country in WW II. Under Truman's leadership, the agency experienced tremendous growth as its footprint grew throughout the Greater Susquehanna Valley and beyond. After Truman's passing in 1991, his sons, Chris, Craig and Bill Purdy, took the reins and, to this day continue to grow this successful company. Since 2002, the fourth generation has joined the firm to ensure the continued success of the family business.
